Questions & Comments
Love your earrings! They are gorgeous. I was going to GIN them, then started doing some math. You said you paid $296 for them. For 41,600 credits it costs $40.00. So 440,000 credits divided by the 41,600 credits = 10.58 X $40.00 = my cost to by 440,000 credits would cost me $423.20 and that's $127.20 MORE than you paid for them originally. Maybe your GIN is a little high. Just wanted to bring this to your attention. Thanks for letting me look. EV (=
you cannot take credits value for what people pay for gift cards... the sheeple have no imagination so they all going for the same way to cash out... the real value is the max and minimum averaged out....
just trying to enlighten everyone across the board..(.people need to quit saying that silly stuff. I am giving it away for free... where you think credits come from. the easter bunny?) not attacking you. please understand was just stating that your assumption of credit values are somewhat erroneous because lack of consideration for the minimum value... i have been tracking listias credit "value" for quite some time... the best deal listia gives you is 910 credits at buy in... if you maxed your gift card which is "cashing out" for most folks..it comes to 1680 /$ so average the two and you get a more normalized of 1295 credits to a real $. . . . . while credits fluctuate to a dollar... the sort of hold true...
For example my last $25 gift card went for 42,000 by your math that makes the value of the gift card $40. See what I'm saying? The GIN for these earrings isn't out of question at all
I agree with you about credit values. I've gotten iPads by listing outgrown children's items that would have otherwise gotten me nothing. Yes, I pay for shipping, but it's no where near what I'd have to pay in cash for something like that. You're being generous, and it's a wonderful auction.
Beautiful auction. And yes, you are giving these away for free! People don't realize that when the seller lists/ pays for shipping, it IS far less than what one would pay cash for any item. Thanks for listing these beautiful earrings
