A method of activating the key through the xbox live:
1. Press the Guide button on the joystick.
2. Go to the Marketplace section, and then select Redeem Code.
3. Enter the 25-digit code.
4. Confirm the entry.

A method of activating the key through the site:
1. Go to the site www.xbox.com
2. In the upper right corner of the Sign In
3. Enter your data and go.
4. Go to Manage Profile.
5. Go to the Redeem Prepaid Card
6. Enter Prepaid Code.

These will only work on SILVER Accounts. HOWEVER: They can be "stacked" by redeeming a new one every 7 days. (i.e. you redeem one code and your Silver account becomes Gold, 7 days later it expires, redeem another, wash, rinse, repeat.)
