The listing, error quarter ? has ended.

this is a strange quarter. to begin with, it has a much higher copper content and does not sound like a normal quarter. second, there is a die mistake on the front at the nose of Washington. there is no sign of a die mistake on the back to correspond with the front. the year of this coin is 1992. if anyone knows more about what I have, please let me know..the coin will not be removed from auction till sold

If it didn't look like a perfect quarter I would say that is was a quarter struck on a nickel planchet. As far as the mass by Washington's nose, it looks like it's Cud. Just an extra mass of metal left behind by a die break. I'm going to be bidding thats for sure. Wish more people listed error coins. I love them.
