This a long range wireless antenna adapter. It has a wide coverage, listed as 5x wider range then a normal wireless antenna. It is manufactured by ALFA net works.
Specifications listed on box are as follows,

standards - wireless:IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0
date rate - 802.11b:11Mbps 802.11g:54Mbps
It is supported by Windows xp, Windows vista, Windows 7,Mac 10.4,10.5,10.6, Linux 2.6. I really don't no alot about this just what is listed on the box, but i do know it pulls in a lot of wifi signals from everywhere, it works really well. I will try to answer any questions. I had one like it , but by a different company, they really do work well.
You pick up wifi that is well over 100 yards away if not more.
Mine actually has two USB's on the lead wire coming from the unit that are supposed to be plugged in to the laptop/computer.
But since I have a different cord with the mini USB on one end and reg USB the other end, I use it instead, it works as well and seems to make no difference.

Does this one have the mini USB on the end that goes to the unit?
Its not micro usb, its mini usb

I am new and don't have many credits yet, which is why I bidded only one credit, so I can have it saved.
I have 9 days to come up with credits to buy it.

it just has the standard usb end . thanks for the info, i don't know all the tech stuff, but it does work well.
