The listing, Muscari Grape Hyacinth - Final Auction has ended.
15+ seeds collected from my garden. About 4 inches in height for mature plants. Foliage resembles grass - perfect for naturalizing in the lawn.
They prefer full sun during their growing period, but will tolerate light shade or half-day sun. They flower early, and often have most of their growth finished before many trees are completely leafed out, which makes them suitable for a variety of sites.
I have them under my curly willow tree and after they bloom, I simply mow them down. Since they multiply easily, I also have them in the front garden along a row, under the dwarf bulbs.
Zone 4 - 9 ... requires a cold period (winter) for blooming. Grown from seeds, muscari will require more time to mature and bloom.
Fan me + I auto-fan back.
