They did the 18 cuz the 16 was to big they had to do it closer to the tip then normal people cuz the vain was a little longer than most...

ah ok i guess that makes some sense lol every piecing of the tongue is based on location of their veins ive seen ppl have 3 huge veins, I only have 2 so piercing was easier lol

They pierced your tongue with an 18 gauge? 16 gauge is bigger than the 18 gauge they normally pierce with a 16 I'm surprised they did an 18 gauge
