Description

The listing, 20 Mixed Silvertone Beads has ended.

This is for a mix of 20 silvertone beads. These make wonderful accent or spacer beads on all sorts of projects.

I start all my auctions at 100 points to offset the fact that shipping these costs a minimum of $1.56 for EACH auction (unless someone wins multiples). I'm happy to add GIN (minimum is 2000) until someone has bid, but please don't ask me to lower the time on the auction.

I will be listing lots of beads and beading accessories in the coming days. I also have gift cards, MCR points and more, so please be sure to check out my other auctions and put your watch bids in.

If you are also on Etsy, please add me there. I'm building my there shop called Charms n Chattels, where I will feature handmade jewelry.

Yes, I will fan you. I go through and add those who have added me all at one time.

If you are a seller, please remember if it isn't a letter or a gift card, it has to go at the package price, not the letter price. Weight is not the only thing that now determines the rate. Please keep that in mind when shipping so fewer Listians are receiving postage due items.

Thank for the good advice...I am new on here, so I may be contacting as I run into a wall. I normally take my items to the post office. I have found a site that will give data on how to calculate shipping cost; due know of one?

Regards,
Agnes

The only site I know of is USPS.com. Granted, if you are mailing in a regular envelope and it weighs less than an oz, it will still come up as only owing $.44, though actual cost could be $1.56-1.71. It's absolutely ridiculous! The only way to hold them accountable is to pay them MORE money for Delivery Confirmation, and even that is no guarantee. I've recently received reports of items I sent on 7/21/11 being posted as being sent 7/28/11! I'm now going to be stamping the bottom corner of my envelopes with the date I shipped it. I refuse to let them have any more of my money so they can still not do their jobs. They have no competition and apparently, no one truly regulates them.

My understanding (which could be wrong) is that if you use STAMPS, it's only $1.56, but if you use a meter or take it to the post office, it would be $1.71 for their internal tracking system (anyone else rolling their eyes?). I literally had about 10 sheets of paper that I weighed and mailed at work, according to the scale (being that it's paper...in a letter envelope, shouldn't it go at the letter rate?!?!) and they sent it back as postage due of another $.44. REALLY?!?! If I knew who to aim it at, I would so open a can of Phat Girl Ninja on them! Wahhhhhh!

If anyone is interested & has the points, I have a Winner's choice $25 gift card up right now with a GIN of 15950. I need more points within the next few hours for something I'm trying to win. Mention this blurb & I'll mail you some of these beads too!
