Up for bid are two comic postcards in French. Both are in good vintage condition. Both sides are shown.

Probably produced around 1950, but the one with the girl is postmarked 1957. The caption beneath the picture translated is "This is no way to live!" French humor??? And this one is signed H. Did, who it seems did most of their work in the 1940s.

Beneath the cowboy translated: "Jim! It is me, Jim!" Maybe it makes more sense if you're French???

The card with the cowboy was originally glued to a piece of pink paper, some of which has left residue on the back (but some of what was in the scan has fallen off because the glue has dried out). So it's actually a little cleaner on the back now.
