FREE: Vintage Jewelry Box

This is a very ultra-cool jewelry box from I'm guessing around late 1950's or early 1960's. It doesn't have the key, but all of the latches and hardware work flawlessly. The color of the box is a beautiful baby aqua blue, and the inside opens up to this silvery blue velvet. There are a few stains inside and out, but I believe that adds to the character of the box and the years that it has seen. No tears in the fabric, and no noticeable dents on the outside of the box. The top opens up with a mirror and two drawers that pull up and outward. The mirror is in perfect condition. There is a small drawer below that has six small compartments and one large one. In all, there are 14 small compartments and 4 large ones. This is a great item for someone that collects vintage jewelry, but works for anyone that enjoys these old vintage treasures.

I am throwing in an adorable little old Avon powder compact. It matches the jewelry box perfectly, and it is nice to hold tiny pieces of jewelry, so it is only right that they be together.
