It is 3g and it's got a charger and charges great as well as holds charge for good amount of time with no problems. Sorry, doesn't come with a case.

Boost phones that are 3g cannot be unlocked. Only newer 4g phones that use a removable sim card can be unlocked so no that phone can not be unlocked at all. Also boost mobile is a prepaid carrier so there is no contract either. Also the esn is the serial number.

Absolutely, you access and download apps on the phone through google play store. I can assure you it works great, cuz I had over 8gb of games and stortage on the phone when I was using it, and I never had any issues wit it.
