My son ended up cutting the spring on the bottom of his mos so it fits with an 18650. Works great but I don't recommend doing any modifications unless you are experienced.

Most mods come with an extension tube to fit the kick, so maybe your son wasn't experienced enough to know that. But thanks for your input, which was not asked for

My son is very experienced, the mod he used his Kick in did not have an extension tube because it was a 1 of a kind bought at Vapor-Con 2. But most commercially available mecs/mods are available with an extra tube you can purchase.

Wow, my experience with vapor-Con, Vapor-Con-West, it is for all vendors to show and sell their items, as well as to show their new upcoming products, like Innokin, Aspire, KangTech, Namberjuice, VaporDNA, Vapor Nation, deejstuff, FastTech, VapingWalrus, MadVapes, VaporBeast, JoyTech, and the list goes on! And I have never heard of any of them selling one of a kind, as they don't sell the prototypes! So he must have bought what he bought from some random person that paid for a ticket into the event, because vendors do not sell one of a kind. And it is so dangerous for someone to modify a mod, which in your sons case he would have had to add to his tube a extension and without knowing what the physical components and the types of metal used in the make up of the original tube, he could have a potential catastrophic accident! That's why I said what I did! And yes I don't recommend anyone to modify, you maybe experienced in vaping and using your items, but when you start removing or cutting stuff off you mod and not replace it with magnets or something else your just asking for trouble. This is just my personal opinion
