I don't know how many seeds. I pick the entire seed pod and fill a snack or sandwich bag, depending on how many pods are out there. I havent prepicked them so that they'll be maximum dried out 9they got rained on about a week ago). About 20 pods, and the seeds are the size of a pin head. Each seed pod has about 6 compartments of seeds. I leave them in the pod so the winner can verify that they are in fact Columbine seeds, so I've never dissected one to count. I can do that tonight if yall want to know. =)
