This auction is a tired auction for SKYLANDERS , PLAYSTION 3

Game disc is perfect, No scratches , No marks.
You will not get a case with this disc because when it was bought it was in a start up pack and the disc came in a white paper casing.

So auction starts off with the starter kit..
you will get : The game CD , The base ( the big round thing), and 4 Characters. ( photos 1 & 2 )

When Bidding reaches 100,000 you will get 6 more Characters ( photo 3 )

When Bidding gets to 200,000 you will get 4 Characters and the large ship. ( photo 4 )

GIN and you get it all , everything in all the photos..
26 Characters , the Base, The CD Game and a carrying case.

Everything is in perfect condition..

The starter kit sells at walmart for 74.99
each Character sells for around 14.97
So this is well worth the GIN if your wondering, Plus I am giving free shipping :-)

sucks none of the old toys can be used for any of the new games like swapforce or trap T_T the whale and ship are fun to play with in game

oh really... that does suck!! My kids loved this and my boy went crazy over it and now , none of the kids bother with it... sad really, coz we spent so much on it.. But at lease it comes with 2 games if GIN is used and that should keep ya busy for a while.. then when the winner gets sick of it they can list it on Listia or sell it for a couple hundred on craigslist, kijiji or maybe even a video game store..

All Skylanders are forward compatible, meaning: Every character/Action set or Battle Pack from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure is 100% compatible with Skylanders: Giants, in turn all of those two games characters are compatible with Swap Force and all THREE of the games characters are compatible with Trap Team.

They are not Backwards compatible, meaning Trap Team characters only work on Trap Team they will not work on the other Three games.. understand?

Now to battle the confusion the developer has instituted a color system. Look at the base of any character or battle/adventure pack and you will see each series has a distinct color at the bottom: Green is Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, Orange is Giants, Blue is for Swap Force and Red is for Trap Team.

So a Green base is universal to any game in the series. Orange is universal to any game accept Spyro's Adventure, Blue is universal to only Swap Force or Trap Team and Red is unique only to Trap Team.

Also to clear a few things up ALL characters, battle/action packs are cross platform universal, meaning they will work on any system X-Box 360, X-Box One, PS3, PS4, Wii, Wii U, or 3DS.. yes that means if you have a PS3 and wish to Upgrade to a PS4 your characters will work (you may have to buy new version of the game though) subsequently if you own a second or third system like a tablet or a 3DS or an X-Box you can use the same characters you have on all any/all of the systems.. The stats may change though or have to be rebuilt per system, but they will work cross platform.

Ohh wow.. Thank you for clearing this up!!! I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone I called ... So I asked my daughter to look in to it, I asked her because she is in with ubisoft and I figured she should be able to find everything out..lol I can now tell my daughter not to worry , I found out.. It's not a problem I'm also Staff on an X-Box community site which tracks all progress, I also avidly collect these but unfortunately for me I didn't really get hooked until well after Swap Force was out, so now I'm stuck on the hunt...lol.. Some are more rare then others only a few more to complete Spyro's Adventure set a bunch for Giants still and I need to clean up the rest of Swap Force (non swapaables) and of course now I have to worry about all these Trap Teams.....and if you don't know the plan for Skylanders is to make it annual to semi-annual game like Call of Duty or any of the top sports games, so these things are not going away anytime soon.

Funny, my daughter just told me the same thing about them, not going anywhere soon.. Ohh , I promise this .. I will not be buying this again.. I've bought 2 starter kits and the starter kits cost 74.99 in Canada and thats not including the 13% tax.. I've spent hundreds on them and for my son to play with them for maybe two weeks.. My son is in to Call of Duty now , but if me want skylanders again , he can wait another 2 years till he's old enough to get a job and buy them for himself... The gaming industry is just insane...
