hese ear phones are what i find to be one of the best pair of ear phones that I have yet to find(besides the beats by Dre!!! Lol) I own a black pair of these so I speak from my own experience about them I love the Crystal clear sound and bass!!!! :)

What's the difference between noise isolating and not?

I'm not sure I think one is just more for a snug fit to block out more outside noises? I haven't tried then yet it was my 1st seeing these I've never tryed them only the regular jibs like the blue ones I have posted I hope I answer your question kinda :) good luck!!!

Ok so I just checked both ear phone packages side by side and everything on both packages match there seems to be NO difference between the noise ISOLATING ones and the blue jibs besides the fact that both are different colors and one packageing says NOISE ISOLATING on it I hope this is a bit more helpful then my last comment :)

Yes...you're right. Noise isolating does refer to the barrier created between outside sounds and your ear.
