It's 2 inches! I don't use it anymore bcuz I just got a BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium flat iron 1 1/4 inch extended plate. It's awesome & I absolutely love it. I have really thick hair with a wavy curl to it & when I straighten my hair it usually takes forever!!!! Not anymore, 1 slide down my hair and its straight
