I always blow dry my hair first to insure less burning of my hair. Maybe with the extra info I gave you, you can find out and let me know. Thanks

I'm sorry but I don't know much about it. I got it a while back. It has a hi and low setting on it. I put the model number on a previous comment so you can look up info.
