I took the pic right before I posted the item. So yes, as the pic clearly shows, it does work. That's also the only time I've turned it on, so i guess it's used too. It is illegal to send any battery in the usps due to possible leaking and other hazards it causes while in transit. That is the only reason why I won't send it with one.
