This bowl is for a very small dog that eats too fast. My daughter has an older chihuahua who eats like its her last meal and we thought this would help. Unfortunately, her eye site is bad and she gets confused easily so this didn't work for her. If you have a mini dog that likes to play and loves a challenge but eats way too fast, this is a great bowl. I have seen it work very well. Used once and sanitized for your pet's safety.
