The DS version of the Dreamworks film Bee Movie lets handheld gamers control Barry B. Benson as he navigates the bustling worlds of both New Hive City and New York City. Players must complete stylus-based mini-games that allow Barry to build up his strength and prepare him for future boss battles. Once he is strong enough to fly and carry items Barry will be able to help retrieve things for his fellow citizens. Players can fly at three different heights to avoid objects or reach destinations, with the ultimate goal of getting through each level as healthy and quickly as possible
