Used 8GB iPhone 3G up for auction. Works perfect, just needs a sim card. Phone has been wiped and set to factory default with latest firmware. This does not include a charger.

most mom and pop cell phone stores and mall phone kiosks or stores unlock phones for like 20 or 30 bucks. jailbreaking isnt really needed if you are using gsm technology like att or tmobile or simple mobile (any sim required carriers).

What is the condition of the phone as the description doesn't mention it ? With 1 being horrible and 10 being in Perfect condition ?

I would say 8 or 9. There's nothing wrong with it. It's in really good shape. I used to keep it in a protective case but then took it off to make it fit better in my pockets. So it has minor wear on it but nothing major.

hi just want to let u k ow this will mr work with verizon or any other carrier that does not use sim cards u can only use it with AT&T or tmobile or somewhere that uses sim cards but u also hve to get it unlocked before u can use it anywhere else besides AT&T or u won't be able to use it just AT&T if u don't jailbreak it and unlock it!! u can go to jailbreakme.com and slide the bar that looks like ur unlock screen and do what it says then go to the newly installed cydia and download winterboard once u do that ur jailbroke and get online and look up dev team and find out what u do to unlock it if the jailbreakme.co

It was through AT&T but Verizon is also doing plans for the iPhone now I believe. It is not unlocked. It used to be but the firmware updates always lock it again. I hadnt updated the firmware in awhile so it needed to be done.

My husband had it unlocked before but when we updated the firmware that firmware couldnt be jailbroken yet. Since then Ive gotten a new phone and havent used the iphone in awhile. Just before I posted the auction we updated to the latest firmware again. But I dont see any reason why it could not be jailbroken.
