The listing, FREE Samsung 8.1 Megapixels Camera has ended.

You are bidding on a gently used, excellent working Samsung 8.1 MP camera! This camera has 6 "shooting settings" including auto and video (as welll as: scene, children, portrait, night, and manual). This camera takes great pictures and is only gentally used: the "damage" on the camera is shown in the pictures (the last two) besides the three small "scratches" on the back that are not shown in the pictures. (although they don't go beneath the surface, they are "superficial" scratches) just some minor dents/scratches (all "damage" is minimal and is only noticeable if one looks for it, they are very superficial and minor. This camera is probably around 4 years old, but hasn't been used in 2 other than to turn on and take a picture before listing to ensure it was still in working condition. This camera does not come with a USB cable or a battery charger - it takes 2 AA's (included) and an SD card (not included, unless credits to 15,000). I am offering free shipping on this item because as I have come into some money I want to be able to offer free shipping again, although I will not offer it on all of my new auctions - this one I feel is appropriate. optical zoom yes, 7.4 - 22.2 mm I have not taken macro pictures but it does have a macro function. thanks!

I have a Samsung S730 and I absolutely love my camera. I wouldn't trade my Samsung for any other camera in the world! The camera in this auction is similar to the one I own and my camera takes magnificent pictures and videos. I also take my auction pictures with my Samsung and it takes some great up close pictures.

Hope this helps out with anyone wondering how well a Samsung camera is!

Cassettetape...I would love to get a Canon camera but the one I would love to get costs a lot. My daughter says I need to ask Santa but I don't think that will happen! lol I don't know if I would ever get rid of my Samsung though...it is just too good!

Canon's are amazing. I WISH! I want a Nikon digital that is like a professional photographers camera with little to no shutter speed. My HP is great but it has a slow shutter speed - not slow slow but you know like 5-10 sec and with kids that's a lot. I need something that I can just keep clicking. I just want to clarify for the newer members, this is not FREE. You need to use credits, it goes to whoever bids the highest in the auction. Credits here is just another form of currency. The credits are not free, you have to buy them or earn them by listing your own items. Nothing on Listia is free, except for shipping in alot of auctions.
Nice camera though, i might bid on it, it would be a good backup in case my only camera breaks, i have a Cannon right now that i use for ebay and Liistia.

Is the USB cable the same kind that printers use?

I don't know. I never had the USB cable for it because it didn't come with one when I bought it but I'm fairly sure a printer USB would work. don't hold me to it though. also with just the USB it only takes like 15 pics so I'd get an SD card and an SD card reader. it makes it a lot easier. most newer computers come with a SD card reader.
