its because you can place a bid higher than what it shows and you just have to keep trying to get past what someone else bid.like if you bid 100 and i already have it at 300,you have to keep bidding until you figure out what i bid....hope this helps some

Can someone please tell me how I am outbid the second I make a bid? Right when I make a bid it says "Bid submitted. However, you have been outbid." Even if someone was sitting here watching the action they wouldn't be able to outbid me right when I press the bid button. :/
