I have a daughter who would love this and Christmas is just around the corner and in the advertising of the app it doesn't say anything about PayPal and it says it all free just bid and free shipping

I have to disagree with you on that. When you place your bid, a window pops up to ask you if you agree that there is a shipping fee. Every time. You are new. You have not read all of the rules, or "hoe it works". Free shipping is not guaranteed. I kindly encourage you to read all of the details when you are interested in an item for auction.
