very nice-replica of my grandfather's patch to be used on the front of the scrapbook I'm making for him. Of course his is a bit more worn looking. He actaully has pictures of Patton walking amongst the soldiers (including non-com) and making speeches. He also had items surrendered from nazi soldiers, but these were recently turned over to a museum in Ca. Very nice item.

I think 3rd Army is still active. I have no history on this specific patch, so didn't title it to a particular war

It is still active but the patch is different. And it was active before Patton.
