Silver and Saphire ASSEMBLAGE Necklace and Earings

This Beauty is made from vintage jewelry.
I have no idea if the Saphires are real. They sure appear to be. Or if the earrings ( saphire backs ) I used to create it are sterling silver. All I know is the jewelry belonged to my 84 year old aunt. So there's no telling. It's a beautiful and stunning piece. Hope you all like it as much as I did making it.

Why thank you. It was quite a challenge. The saphires are old screw on earings. When was the last time you saw screw earings ? And with a little bit of ingenuity. It turned out great. Glad you like it.

Im actually not sure. I used very old earings to create the main part of the necklace. The original owner died at 84. So the saphires might be real also. The earings were screw earrings. So if that dates them. They are pretty old. I dont see any markings on the back of the earings I used. I hope this helps to answer your question a little bit. As you can see in the photos. The saphires are LOVELY.
