Iam not sure I have the fat one and it works on it I got it from my sister and I pretty sure her kids had the slim one but not sure

This will work on fat and slim that is what I am told I can't find book on it but I know it works good on the fat one cuzz that's the one I have my Ps3 never gets hot be cuzz I don't play it much anymore I have games that I haven't even play on it yet but I decided to keep it so my little grandsons can play it when they come to visit .
