This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, Rango **Tiered** has ended.

You are bidding on a Rango DVD. The DVD is the starter item and is what the winner will receive REGARDLESS of how high the bidding goes.
The DVD will be mailed in a plastic, hard case. The case is shown in the photos.
If the bids exceed 5k the winner will have the option of the Blu Ray instead of the DVD,mailed the same way in the plastic case shown. If the bids exceed 10k the winner will receive both the Blu Ray AND the DVD in the original packaging UNOPENED.
If the GIN option is used (unlikely but worth mentioning) I would throw in an official movie poster. I wouldn't tier it if I didn't get lowballed on expensive items so much IN ADDITION to footing the shipping bill. I have to make the decision to either tier items to ensure I get a fair price that also compensates for shipping or I will have to charge for shipping in the future which I know yo guys hate so I will start by tiering and see how that works out in an attempt to keep things free!!
I also have the DVD itself NIB available to those that do not wish to try for the Blu Ray and the extras. That is listed beneath this listing so feel free to check that out as well!!

I just want to warn you... you can't put popcorn in an auction. Food is prohibited by Listia and they will remove it. Just a friendly warning from a fellow lisian.

Thanks for the heads up looks like a moderator took care of removing it from both listings! I thought because it was sealed it would be okay but now I know!! Thank you for that info. Had the moderator not stepped in I would have asked Listia to remove it off of that info!

I'm new to Listia. In your description, what does "tiered" mean?

Thanks for that very good question. Tiered listings are listings that offer more products to the winner, the higher the bids get. An initial bid earns you a certain item and the higher the bids go additional items are added.

That's correct. 1 is a DVD,the other is a combo pack (DVD and Blu Ray)

It's nice to see someone speak up about how hard it is to keep free shipping and get low balled. I recently had 6 VHS tapes up in a lot and only charged 1/4 of the shipping and only got 2 points for them! I paid $15 out of my pocket for 2 points that i could have got for free just by sharing on twitter. So now I'm too scared to even list anything anymore. BTW, watching and fanning. :)

It stinks,I know and I'm sorry to hear that. I refuse to list heavy or sizeable items anymore because of it. It's sad how ppl take advantage.

I totally understand what you are saying tatyanachavez. I try to put up quality, popular(high dollar) auctions that people can say hey if I sell a couple things I might be able to get that...but it doesn't work out like that all the time...I've really lost my knickers on a few things and no I'm not trying to become a Listia millionaire. Just christmas for my kids. I am actually thinking about trying one myself, but thanks for listing a great item/items. sorry I didn't bid but my youngest is 19 and I don't think she would appreciate it as much as a youngster...lol

I'm 31 and I appreciated it like a youngster lol..but I'm a kid at heart and YES!!! I knoooow it stinks that people try to get over and low-ball but that's when yo block those people that incessantly complain and accept your items shipped next day in $10 worth of mats but send your ring or kids clothes in an envelope barely even taped shut. I get fed up too hopefully it will change as the site evolves and becomes more known. Fanned ya!!

It is totally adorable!! Rango, Gnomeo & Juliet and Rio were THE cutest movies in the past few years in my opinion!!!! I just saw The Smurfs on Bootleg and loved it too!! If they make a Snorks movie I'm in there! All hail the throwback cartoons of the 1980's Ducktales,Smorks,Smurfs and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers ftw!

I wish they still played reruns of all that stuff! I need an 80's channel ASAP!! I've always wondered why with like 900 meaningless satellite channels DirecTv charges me for nobody has ever thought of a channel that airs reruns from a specific decade. I miss the sitcoms too Three's Company,Too Close for Comfort,Different Strokes, Small Wonder,Family Matters,Fat Albert,Heathcliff,Mork and Mindy...I could go on all day. *0s early 90s was the BEST TV.

I had a talking Alf!! I used to watch Perfect Strangers and Mr.Belvedere after school. Mammas Family and Gimmie a Break...there was so much good TV back then that it was hard choosing what to watch because everything that was on was good. Don't know what happened to good TV.
