Sorry, I'm not up on the scrapbooking lingo. Is paper tape self adhesive like masking tape or do you have to wet it like packing paper tape? Thanks and God bless

No it is not like masking tape. It is a little thinner, but has a glue type backing, so you don't need water or anything else. Just place it on what ever you are decorating and press to seal. Very easy to use. More like a scotch tape, only front is decorated as shown.

I do not do scrap booking either. I use the tapes though on a lot of stuff, like letters, envelopes, photos, etc. This is self adhesive tape. That is the only type I buy.
