You can use them with the new light bulbs as well...I have them in my lamps right now....they all screw in the same....

yeah u will they will just be modified to meet energy efficency ratings, bulb will be the same just more energy efficient thats why you are starting to see the Eco incandascent bulbs from phillips and others they usually cost a little more to.
