Actually let me solve this question, if you have the disk and can open the program with NotePad C++ (Which is available at http://www.freewarefiles.com/ Then at the bottom of the program should be a set of unreadable letters and numbers, then copy them and send it to Microsoft who will then issue a key to install and operate the program. Am I making any sense? I have the same disc. And I am running WindowsXP on another computer, it is a 'programmers' trick.
Yes it has been around for a while, in fact, I can remember back when I used it to reboot a disc drive on a 1982 Krim Computer, however, no many people these days knows how to do it, thus the explanation.
