Best known for his 17 seasons with the Braves, Glavine was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown in 2014 (alongside Bobby Cox, Frank Thomas, Greg Maddux, Joe Torre, and Tony LaRussa,). Its an honor he certainly earned with over 300 wins and over 2600 strikeouts. Glavine led the league with seasons of 20 or more wins 5 times, and won two Cy Young Awards as the best pitcher in the league twice as well as finishing in the top 3 of voting 4 other times.
Glavine pitched 5 seasons with the New York Mets, winning 61 games with them and earning 2 of his 10 All Star teams while in New York.
