Happy Thanksgiving! I am listing my laptop because there is a rare item auction, I would really like to have enough credits to win. This is a good little laptop. It is a mini netbook-type laptop which makes it easier for travel on airplanes and in cars, to use at a desk, etc. It is a Toshiba NB305 copper-colored shell. Windows 7 Starter installed, a registered copy of Malwarebytes virus removal, It has an Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU 450, 1.67 GHz, 2.00 GB installed RAM, 32-bit operating system. I have the original box it came in so you can actually give it as a gift. It isn't the latest and greatest in technology but is really great as a starter laptop for a student or someone who just wants to browse the internet on something. Everything works, comes complete with battery charger. I have replaced the screen on this once, so it's case has been opened to have a new screen installed. 10 inch screen, working internal WI-Fi and camera at top of screen for Skype or other use. Will be shipped in a flat-rate box priority mail.

Does it have a cd/dvd player?

It doesn't I used an external one with it. it has 3 USB jacks, a jack to hook up a larger monitor, headphone and mic jacks on the sides.

Just bring up windows explorer, right click on each of the drives under "computer" and post the total sizes :) that would be awesome.

yes. It has AT&T Communicator installed which works with all wi-fi regardless of the carrier, but you can remove it if you want to use something else.

Do you do tracking and when do you ship out? Is there anything wrong with the cord like copper wires showing through? I had that problem before and had to dispute to get my credits. F+W

absoluetly will track and insure I will ship out same day or day after depending on when winning bidder provides their address. Nothing wrong with any of the cords.

so this is bigger than a 500 harddrive correct, what i need is a computer that i small and is fast i do alot of pictures on dropbox i buy and sell on ebay and listia i also play games and research

It sounds like you plan on using it for what I mostly used it for. I can tell you what it will not handle only because the processor is a bit slower than computers made for it. If you plan on using graphics programs like Photoshop on it or if you plan on playing intense rapid shoot video games on it, it will crash a lot. I think there is a special graphics accelerator card you would have to install in it to use those. Also you would be better storing a whole lot of photos externally. I do have an external hard drive for it that I could add to the auction, I don't know the specs on it yet, but i will check it out and update the listing if I think it's worth including for ya. It has been storing most of my photos as a backup.

Ram size how many gigs you said it was upgraded so is it 4 gb and th?e ghz is what? is it fast. i need to know if the harddrive isa big enough for me please

It has Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition installed (includes Word, Excel & Powerpoint), Adobe Reader and Flash, Google Chrome is the browser installed on it, CCleaner, Malwarebytes, Quickbooks, and Skype.

The battery area on the bottom where the computer sits is scratched up. The sides of the screen where I opened the case to replace the screen aren't damaged but you can tell it has been opened on the left side. Other than that it is good. I can take photos of the scratched if you need to see them. I bought this computer in 2010 for $250 which was an incredible deal at the time if that gives you a better of what you are bidding on. I'm seeing them for about $125 to $150 on eBay. The parts (especially the battery, charger, and memory sticks) which are all in good working order have good resale value.

comes with charger. It might have Word installed, I will check for you. I use Open Office on my desktop computer which is free to download. I would recommend that to you if it doesn't.
