Published in 1946, this book on Fractures and Joint Injuries is just as relevant today. Plus, it is CHOCK FULL of super cool radiographs and photos of injuries. Most of the photos are in black and white, but there are gobs of color ones, too. Unfortunately, most of them are a bit too gross to show here. Blood and stuff might burn your eyeballs if you aren't ready for it. But super cool, very detailed. Many of the photos have description cards you read and then lift up for the picture. I have never seen anything like this before, it is neat though.

This book is in incredible shape for its age. There is an inscription in front, but I did not see any other writing in it or torn or missing pages. Would make a great gift for a medical student, doctor or osteopath, nurse, EMT, paramedic, forensic student, pathologist...geez, so many people would love something so interesting!!
