probably ages 12-14 depending on the child. how big is the child that you're thinking about getting this for? age and weight. i could tell you better if i knew the size of the child. it's hard to determine, it really depends on the size of the child.

I disagree about this being the equivalent of a man's med-lg. It's a boy's xlg, a bit smaller than a man's small.
