This is a really pretty necklace from way back there a few years..lol. Back when beads were strung on real string! It is in good shape though and the string shows no brittleness. The white beads are just stunning. I don't know if they are some kind of polished shell or a type of glass, but they are to heavy to just be plastic. They shine and shimmer and have a 3 dimentional quality to them. You can see that in picture 3. That place that looks like a chip is not at all, but one of the facets of deep shine. They are smooth to run your hand over and have varying shades of white, cream and even gray! They also have varying depths of opaqueness. 18 inches total. Very neat!
