Used alarm clock & radio can be either plugged into 2-prong outlet or operated by battery.

I plugged clock in & tested radio & all other functions to make sure all are in working condition. My testing proved to be positive with no fails on it's ability to operate correctly & well. Although, I did not have the proper battery to test the clock in it's battery powered state I can ensure it's durability & appearance to be that of a desirable quality.

There are a few nicks & dings accumulated from it's survival of many years, storage & moves endured while in my possession. If you are only needing a reliable alarm or a simple AM/FM stereo here it is. I would best place this space saving, hard working clock in a child's room or a workshop letting you rest assure you aren't putting a high end mp3 player/stereo at risk of damage.
