This beautiful, and unique marble, is maufactured in my home state of Kansas. It is from the Cockatoo, marble catagory.Cockatoos have an opaque white base with swirls of brownish red, yellow and orange on the surface. They are iridized to have an extremely shiny, reflective surface. This type of marble is called a peewee, it is smaller than a regular sized marble. These are very beautiful marbles with rich colors. I have repurpose these pretty marbles by wire sculpting, in non tarnish permanent colored vintage bronze wire, and added tiny little wire swirls around the top. it is bound at the bottom and is a very sturdy, and unique little pendant and earring set.One of a kind. Have a piece of childhood, and a lovely repurposed and recycled conversation starter!
