This unusual oriental doll stands 15" tall and is clothed in a traditional oriental dress which is "real" material. The body, underneath the dress, is a shaped, long, heavy piece of styrofoam which is attached to the plastic stand/base. I believe her face and hands are paper-mache. Her face is beautifully hand painted. Her hair looks to be shaped black threads.
The bottom of the 3 1/2" diameter, circular, plastic base is stamped "Made In Taiwan R.O.C." on one side and the letters "P-E" on the other. I have no idea how old she is other than that I have owned her for at least 30 years and I didn't buy her new. She is in excellent condition, with no tears, stains or dirt.
