New Handcrafted Jewelry or Trinket Box: Brass and Camel Bone:India

This unique box is skillfully crafted mostly of bones that have been sawed up and made into this fascinating box. It has a brown stain rubbed onto it to make it look old. Some sites even say these are antiques but I bought a couple with stickers on the bottom. Don't think they are vintage. This is new, never used. Lined with thin blue cloth, interesting owl shaped front lock and back hinges made of brass. Brass trim also. Carved design on top goes all the way thru the bones. I enjoy unusual things like this. Sharing it with you! Makes an unique gift for someone who is also unique! Bigger than my hand. 6" long and over 3" wide!

On Ebay, these go for $15-$25 each, depending on size. This one is bigger than my previous auction. Worth the $25! Mine is new, not used.

Carved camel bone, look at the closeups to see the saw marks on the bottom of the box and the grain of the bone.
