The listing, Lionel "Scout" Sunoco Tanker Car has ended.
The "Scout" line for Lionel was offered between 1948-1950, and has an unusual coupler that is only compatible with other cars and locomotives in the Scout line. Uses standard "O" Gauge track, however. This is a model 1005 Sunoco single-dome tank car. Tank body shows some wear from use, and there is some paint missing from the base. Wheels on the truck roll freely and the truck itself spins freely as well. Not in perfect shape, but will round out a collection nicely.
