The listing, Miss December Crochet Pattern has ended.
After a war, fashion usually makes changes that reflect, in some way, a military victory. The gold trim on Miss December's ensemble creates an accent reminiscent of the gold-braided military uniforms from the early nineteenth century.
Her muff (from the Dutch word for mitten) was also new for women during that time period. It too, was something used by men to keep their hands warm on cold marches. Composed of cloth and fur, trimmed in a variety of fripperies, women and children turned the muff into a fashion statement.
You will recreate a stunning period gown with this pattern booklet. For an 11 1/2 inch doll.
