The listing, 1840 Peddlar Lady Crochet Pattern has ended.
This amazing costume recreation is a faithful copy of a miniature conversation piece for a home in London, England. 200 years ago, small doll recreations of various women peddlars (peddlers in American English) were common home displays. Women who sold on the streets actually did wear their goods on their gowns in many cases, as they carried boxes with trays of items. This unusual pattern results in a gown composed of eight different squares, joined together. Instructions for her cape and hair style are included. Annie's Attic used to carry the kit that included all the items displayed on the gown. They still might. Instructions for ordering are contained in the pattern booklet.
You will recreate a stunning period gown with this pattern booklet for an 11 1/2 inch doll.
