The C2D e8400-8600 is pretty common in utah recycling centers. And local recyclers sell them for like $5-$10. For some reason I thought they weren't a big deal. Even tho they are pretty powerful :)

If they do you should grab them up for $5 because they go regularly on ebay from $15-$30.

That's exactly what I was thinking. As long as I can ship it affordably it should be worth the time. Thanks for the info :)

$2.32 USPS Priority....I've shipped a lot of them haha. Can go a bit cheaper but I prefer the tracking, security, and reliability. YW :-)

I started out wondering how computers worked. I took an online PC Repair course, built my own system, now I'm addicted. Before my old Pent D system died I had it maxed out. It was an HP system board I bought from a local repair shop which started out with a 512 MB PC 4200 DDR2 stick and a 2.50 GHz Pent D . Over time I upped it to 4 GB of PC2 5300 and replaced the 2.50 GHz processor with a 3.2 GHz. I eventually ended up fixing desktops and laptops for friends and family. Now I want my own shop.

The case I had the old system in was an Apevia X-Plorer. I had blue LED fans in it as well. I'll eventually migrate what I have now back into that case once I replace the side window. It was cracked during shipment but, I wanted to do my build so bad I did not bother returning it. It stayed cracked for the years I've had it.

There are a good number of these processors on Ebay and they all have more than 20 watchers. The popularity of them coupled with the relatively low prices I'm seeing there may make it hard even there to get one.

Yeah, with any auction it all depends on how much you really want the item. One couldn't care less while another would pay over retail value just to have. Me, I'm just trying to clear out all my older PC stuff that others can still use lol.

I understand how it is to auction popular items. I put up Applebees gift cards here on Listia before and people were all over it like like flies on ... well, you know. Same when i did baby stuff auctions.

Isn't this the e7600 not e7400
Dec 15th, 2014 at 6:54:12 PM PST by

Lol, yes it is the 7600. I'll correct that in an update. Thanks for the heads up!

Too late for me to update but to all watching/bidding this is the duo E7600. I've got several duos and must have had that on my mind when I typed specs. Everything else is correct on the specs.
