Yes, it takes 35mm film. and it needs batties. They are regular film camerabatteries It takes two 357 Energizer or equivilent

WOW! Very nice! Does tihs all work correctly? The lense focuses, no scratches on lense, takes proper pictures? I prefer black and white :)

Hi, I can't actually gaurantee anything but it was a camera may dad used. He perferred to carry several cameras loaded with B/W as well as color depending on the shot. The lens was something he bought and had for special trips.
