The listing, Genuine Niassa Ruby and Diamond Ring, pre-owned, size 9, Sterling Silver Platinum Overlay has ended.

This is personally my ring. I purchased it a few years ago and have worn it several times. I just don't wear enough red to keep it. This is 2 carats of Genuine Niassa Ruby and .03 carats diamonds. 5 rubies 6 small diamonds, three on either side of the main stones. This is sterling silver, with a platinum overlay. It can be sized (its a 9 right now) but the price would be more substantial to resize as the platinum coating would have to be replaced.

Being preloved, it does show a bit of wear on the band from normal usage, but could also be shined up nicely with a jewelry cloth.

Please, serious bidders only. Please do not ask for a GIN or to lower days, as I want everyone to have a chance at this. I will even send this FREE SHIPPING PRIORITY 1-3 days to help make sure it gets there in time for Christmas.

I do not know the size or clarity of the diamonds, so please do not ask. This ring was not a cheap purchase, but it was not thousands of $$$ either, so the rubies are not crystal clear, but they are real.

As I said in the listing, this was not thousands of dollars. They are not AAA quality, but yes they are real.

Now I have to say, with the jewelry items I have sold, and the feedback I have received on the jewelry items, I am getting pretty tired of people and the crazy comments. I state what it is, unlike others, who claim real gems and say it's truly gold or silver or what not. You all know where it was purchased already, I have stated what it is, that it was not thousand of dollars. What else do you want from me? Go ask questions like these who those who clearly post ebay $3 items with stock photos and tell you you are getting the real deal.

I understand your question, and they are not blood red. You would be paying thousand of dollars for blood red rubies. They do have a pinkish hue but they are not pinky pink. They have enough color to be slated and sold as genuine rubies. That could be read about on Wikipedia as well.

Rubies are mined in many places including Thailand, Pakistan, Cambodia, Burma, India.......many places. Check wikipedial.

Yes I did actually. between LC, Kohls, sears, jtv, and jewelry.com I have two full jewelry boxes with more jewelry than I could ever wear. I used to resell quite a bit of jewellery that I purchased through LC from their auction side. But of course when one is staring at so much jewellery you have to go to their otherside of purchase for yourself! While all of the jewellery I had purchased through their auctions have been resold I do have probably about 15 pieces that I purchased outright for myself and probably only wear about three consistently. So I figure it is time to start letting go of some of my rings and things to go back down to one jewellery box. :-)
