I got this from an estate sale over in dallas.. not sure how old but rather then elastic, it has a stretch like fish line that has yellowed with age.. stretches just like elastic,and it does not look like the stretch plastic used for the kids bracelets these days.
the metal pcs are just different.. have not seen anything like them when scouring craft stores for my jewelry findings... Age wise, it was in a box of old jewelry I purchased at that sale
