This is a ready to paint, read to hang stretched canvas. It comes with six pots of acrylic paints, two brushes, and one pot of finishing glaze. Canvas is approximately 14 x14 inches.

No it is not paint by number as in you use a specific color in one place. You chose the colors you wish to use that are in the kit. If you don't want to use those colors I'm sure you could use any other acrylic paint on it.
