Vintage 1930’s Crooksville Pantry Bak-In Ware Silhouette – The Bowl is 9 7/8 inches outside diameter and the inside is 8 15/16 inches in diameter. The Bowl is 4 3/4 inches tall and the depth is 4 1/8 inches deep. The base is 4 7/8 inches.

There is some crazing and discoloring due to their age. Crooksville China was established in 1902 in Crooksville, Ohio. There is a crack , but it has not shown any leakage. I have used it since it was a permanent fixture on my Grandmother's kitchen table. You can use it or just put fruit in it on your table. A Beautiful old collectible.They specialized in producing top-grade semi-porcelain table products and kitchen items. They produced tableware throughout the Depression [30’s] and WWII [40’s]. After WWII business declined because they were unable to adjust to the changing American Lifestyles and try to remain competitive against the cheaper Japanese imports. They finally closed their doors in 1959. Crooksville items are very valuable collector’s pieces.
