A great used book for people who love horses. Living in northern New Mexico, I am spellbound whenever I see wild horses when I'm in the road to Colorado.

This book tells the history of wild horses in the United States and how the Bureau of Land Management has sought to capture and kill horses when they believe the herds have grown too big. This remains an ongoing issue in several states. It is an interwoven, gripping tale that any animal lover should read.
