Questions & Comments
that is too funny your comments about leaving the coins to the one that shows interest! really smiling here, don't worry , when you kick the bucket, take the big sleep, take a dirt nap, find your way home....[lol, couldn't help it] ALL your grandchildren will show great interest in the coins...! have a super holiday season!
You are exactly right! They will ALL show interest then! I love your comment, we could go on the road together as stand up comedians!! Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you and yours! I love your sense of humor!!
Lots of great auctions...my grandson just started collecting and is really into it. We do it on the weekends when he comes can't wait for him to see these. Thank you for offering!
My pleasure dbm! This sounds like so much fun! One of our grandsons is only 3, and he is the only one of our 5 to express interest in my coins! Ours range from 16 to 3. and he is the only one. Guess what he is getting in my will - my entire coin collection. Should pay for at least one year in college!! Thank you for your note!
Hi there: I'm not Frank! I'm Jim. The coin is in the same condition as when I received it. I do know NOT to clean coins, because they become almost worthless. NO, I did not clean the coin. I do keep them in airtight container within my safety deposit box. I wrap them in tissue, then velvet and they are then placed in safety deposit box until I need them, either to sell or trade. This keeps oxidation from occurring so rapidly. I have some coins that have been SDB for almost 40 years, and they look exactly as they did when they were placed there. If you leave coins lying around with protective measures, then surely they will oxidize. Thanks for your question. Have a great day and Happy Holidays! With kindest regards.

Thank you JIM...so sorry about getting your name wrong. I am going to steal you tip on how to keep the coins mint. Thank you for you help. Hope you didn't take my asking that question the wrong way. I just was wondering. Happy Holidays to you and your family..
No offense taken! My grandma used to tell me, "If you want to know something, then ask" I am so appreciative of your asking your question. might answer the same questions others may have!! I think you will see a difference in your coins if you keep them in this manner. It works for me. Thanks again and have a great weekend!! Kindest regards, Jim
Since my grandson is really into collecting I have to teach him not only the history but how to preserve them. I really appreciate all the information. Thanks again
